Description
Mary Slessor had a shocking temper and fiery red hair. Brought up in a Dundee slum, her father was an alcoholic and her life was one of hardship and poverty.
However, God had a plan to reach the head-hunting tribes of Calabar, superstitious in the extreme, living in squalor an violence. So without her knowing it, Mary Slessor had spent a large part of her life in a training ground for mission.
